Bartender
Summary of Position:
Interact and engage with our guests with the express goal of selling food and beverages while providing exceptional service. By attentively engaging with guests, bartenders will become acutely aware of the guests’ needs and desires, which will be matched to our offerings. Bartenders will be expected to perform all the functions of a server with the addition of providing beverage service to the guests at the bar as well as to the servers and guests on the dining room floor. Bartenders must possess the ability to make cocktails, pour wine and beer, and serve guests simultaneously.
Qualifications
21 years of age or older.
Able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.
Knowledge of service, food, and beverage with at least 3 years of experience in front of house operations (or 1 year of bartending experience).
Solid command of all products behind the bar and how they are utilized
Recognize the effects of alcohol on guests and respond accordingly
Valid THD Food handler’s License and comply with all THD regulations
Valid ABLE Commission LBW license and comply with all ABLE laws
POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours
